Circle of Stitchers
One of the best parts of quilt-alongs is the community! You’ll be conjuring quilt magic with your fellow stitchers, swapping spells (and tips) as your creations unfold. This event is mainly taking place on Instagram but we will also have a Facebook group for support along the way. That way you won't miss any of the social media posts. Please make sure you are following all the designers on social media!

What skill level is the pattern?

As is common with sampler quilts, each block pattern has an individual skill level. We have blocks that are Beginner up to Intermediate. But each week we will have tips and tricks and videos to help you succeed!
I've never done FPP, will I be able to make the FPP block?
-
FPP is actually not as complicated as it looks! We will have a video tutorial for you and support in our Facebook group.
How much does the quilt along cost?
-
The quilt along and pattern are free! You will need to purchase a fabric kit or use your own fabric.
Can I join if the quilt along is already started?

Yes! You can sign up and get the free pattern until October 27th.
What are the fabric requirements?

You can download the fabric requirements HERE.
Do I have to make all the blocks?
-
No. We highly recommend that you do, as sampler quilts are an amazing way to build skills. But if there is a block that intimidates you or isn't too your liking, this is your quilt so making duplicate blocks or changes to it are ok. Please note, that in order to be entered for prizes you do need to make all the blocks in the original pattern.
How do I enter to win prizes?

Share your quilt progress each week on Instagram by using our hashtag #NocturnalSoulQAL and tag @snugandstitch. For those participating but not on Instagram, you can also enter by responding to our email with a photo of your progress each week! You will also be required to either follow or subscribe to our Sponsor to qualify.
I don't live in the US, can I still participate?

Yes! Most of our prizes will only be able to be shipped within the US, but all are welcome to participate!
How do I get patterns from weeks that I've missed?

Once you have signed up, there will be a link in each weekly email to our folder of patterns for you to download.
Is there a cut-off date for how long the free patterns will be available?
-
The patterns will be available to download until November 30, 2025.
