If you ask anyone in my family, these are better frozen. As are almost every single Christmas treat from my childhood. My Mom would make cookies weeks in advance and freeze them in the freezer downstairs. The perfect place for sneaking some. Apparently, my whole family had the same idea. I still giggle thinking of one time she came upstairs asking "Who ate all the cookies?" We had all had some!
I have a lot of favorite Christmas Treats, but this is absolutely one of my favorites. And it's so easy it feels like cheating. No actual baking required!
